Last weekend a second 12 modem card was installed in the Cisco 5200 to provide
24 lines in total via the Primary Rate ISDN.
Since the Cisco modem server was installed there have been very few connection
failures and stats from the server show a 96% connection success rate.
Utilisation of the 12 modems has been 43% average per day. This is quite
high considering that from 1am to 8am there are often no connections.
From about 5pm to midnight and weekends are the peak usage times.
Now with a second modem card the extra available lines will make connecting
to Mlb.Planet easier at peak times.
